Established in 1991 by Guy Wilcox, we are a family-owned tax and accounting firm based in Tyrone, Georgia. Guy served in the US Marine Corps before graduating from Georgia State University with a BS in Accounting and a master's in taxation. Recognized by the state of Georgia as a practicing CPA since 1983, Guy has the knowledge and experience to resolve all matters of tax vexation.
Guy's son, Cody Wilcox, joined the firm in 2013. Receiving a BS in Accounting from Georgia State University followed by a master's in accounting specialized in taxation from Kennesaw State University he quickly assumed many responsibilities including our not-for-profit clientele. Primarily working with places of worship and their employees, pastoral tax accounting became Cody's bailiwick. Cody's wife, Kristen, also provides vital administrative services to the firm.
Don Wilcox, Guy's younger brother, came on board in 2022. Previously working in the IT industry, Don updated the software and security features of the firm, providing a secure employee and customer environment for the sensitive data used in tax accounting. Don received his masters in accounting in 2023.
Nathan Peters is a lifelong friend and "third son" to the Wilcox family. Nathan manages the bookkeeping department for the firm.
